AMANDA KNOX NOT GUILTY: HOME TOMORROW

NOT GUILTY
AMANDA Knox has been sensationally cleared of sexually assaulting and murdering English student Meredith Kercher.
She will walk free from Capanne prison, outside Perugia, after serving four years for a crime that the appeal court ruled she did not commit.
Earlier she had told the court in fluent Italian: "I did not kill, I did not rape, I did not steal. I was not there."
Pleading with the jury, she added: "I am not who they say I am. The perversion, the violence, the lack of respect for life - I did not do the things they are saying I did."
Her ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito had also denied accusing Knox of the murder and said he was in a "nightmare" he had never woken up from.
He too will walk free from prison.
Prosecutor's now have 45-days to appeal the verdict, which they have vowed to do, as they continue to contend that the pair killed the pretty British student when a kinky sex game went wrong.
Amanda Knox's sister Deanna said in both English and Italian: "We are thankful Amanda's nigthmare is over. We are thankful to the court for looking for the truth.
"We now respectfully ask you to give her family the privacy to recover from this horrible ordeal."
It's thought that she will now fly back to America within hours, although the family has denied that one of the major TV networks has paid for a private jet.
Meredith Kercher's family said they were dismayed by the verdict
They said at an earlier press conference in Perugia that they wanted her original verdict upheld, saying the evidence pointed to her guilt.
