UNDERWEAR BOMBER PLEADS GUILTY IN JET DEATH PLOT

PM UPDATE: Underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab has pleaded guilty to all the terrorism charges against him in a federal court in Detroit. The Nigerian nutcase's dramatic plea quickly ends the high-profile trial. The 25-year-old wannabe  al-Qaida killer was facing life in a federal pen on charges of attempted murder, attempted use of weapons of mass destruction and conspiracy to commit terrorism. The Underwear Bomber was hammered into the national conscience on Christmas Day 2009 when he
tried to blow up a Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Detroit.
He screwed up and the passengers subdued him. Abdulmutallab said his attack was revenge for U.S. support of Israel and to avenge the killing of Muslims in the Middle East. He said: "The bomb was a blessed weapon to save the lives of innocent Muslims." MORE IN THE DETROIT NEWS
