CHICAGO cops have made an arrest in the grisly murder of Kelli O'Laughlin, 14. Kelli was stabbed to death after coming home while a burglary was in progress. Thanks to DNA left at the scene police have arrested and charged a 38-year-old man with first degree murder. A source told the Chicago Sun-Times the man may have called or texted her mother on the teen’s cell phone either before or after she died. The source said it was unclear
whether the cell phone communication actually went through to Kelli’s mother. Kelli was stabbed to death Oct. 27. But a source told the paper the attempt to contact Kelli's mom may indicate another motive for the sinister slaying.
