COPS IN Washington state believe missing toddler Sky Metalwala is still in the state and being kept hidden. But Sky's mom: headcase city. Julia Biryukova told cops Sunday she ran out of gas and left the two-year-old in her unlocked Acura. When she returned, he was gone. Yet there was no gas can at the scene. And there was gas in the tank and cops started the vehicle without problem. But she is involved in a bitter custody dispute with the boy's father who had feared the boy may have spirited to her relatives outside the United States.
Maj. Mike Johnson of the Bellevue Police said: "We don't have any evidence to believe Sky is anywhere other than" the apartment he lived
at or near where his mother said her car broke down shortly before the boy's reported disappearance."
Unfortunately, the boy had not been seen by anyone two weeks prior to his disappearance. The missing boy is half South Asian and Caucasian, 2'2" and 39 lbs. with brown eyes, a dark buzzcut hair and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black and aqua blue sweatpants and white socks.
