CRIME SCENE |
According to the St. Petersburg Times, a woman saw a man fleeing a jewelry store next to Silver Bullet Guns. She nabbed the nearest cop and five minutes later an alarm went off at a home two miles away.
A fire destroyed the gun shop. Property records show the house is owned by Sarah Schriebman.
Mick Poppa, who has lived next door to Schriebman for 25 years, said she shared the house with her son, Mike, and his girlfriend or wife, and a grandson from another son who attended St. Petersburg College.
Poppa said Schriebman's son, Mike, and her grandson worked at Silver Bullet Guns.
"They're just today's typical neighbors," said Poppa, 56, told the Times. "She was a nice lady. She had a great sense of humor."However, another neighbor said he frequently heard arguing coming from the home.
