SHE paid them for buttock surgery, but going under the knife ultimately cost her life.
Cops say Elena Caro, 24, was pronounced dead just hours after being dropped off for the procedure, but rather than face the music, her sleazy doctors tried to flee home to Colombia.
According to Caro’s daughter, she dropped her mother off at the surgeon’s Las Vegas office and was told to come back several hours later.
But on her return she couldn't find Caro and she noticed the furniture
was different and "doctor's" Ruben Dario Mattallana-Galvas, 55, and Carmen Olfidia Torres-Sanchez, 47 had vanished.
Cops later learned that Caro had been given the bum’s rush by the crooks and rushed to the hospital. She was pronounced dead shortly after.
The cowardly couple were each charged with murder after they were caught up with them on Saturday night at the city's McCarran International Airport and have since admitted they had no license to practice medicine in Nevada.
Though the cause of Caro’s death is still being investigated, Cops say it is clear that the suspects had to have known they were at fault.
