But Edward Charles Tobergta's choice to take a pink inflatable swimming raft and make love to it in an alley is certainly surprising.
Quite what turned on the 32-year-old, who has a history of public indecency arrests, is unclear but he could quite easily have taken it into the bedroom as he was busted right outside his Hamilton, OH, home.
He was spotted by the owner of the raft, who was presumably less than thrilled with what it was being used for and fled after being shouted at to stop the Hamilton Journal News reports.        
We're fairly sure that after this, they won't be wanting it back. 
Cops say Tobergta admitted to the act and told officers that he surprisingly enough has a problem and needs help, police say.

LAWYERS SEEK TO DELAY MICHAEL JACKSON DEATH TRIAL

MICHAEL Jackson's death trial will be delayed again if lawyers for Dr Conrad Murray get their way.
The personal physician to the troubled star is accused of helping to administer the fatal overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol and other drugs, which an autopsy ruled, killed the star.
But despite it being almost two-years, since the This Is It star passed away, lawyers for Murray filed an emergency petition asking for the trial to be delayed on Friday. 
The attorneys are requesting that the trial be delayed until the issue of jury sequestration is decided by an appeals court.

A DEADLY daughter smashed her cancer stricken mom around the head because she spilled a cup of water, before eventually beating her so badly that she died, cops say. 
Alicia Henderson, 38, told relatives she was going to to take care of Reba Little, who had stage four cancer and Alzheimer's disease. 
But after moving into the 74-year-olds West Palm Beach, FL, home in February, she began to abuse her defenseless parent. 
Her sister Charlotte Lovell claimed her sister began her alleged abuse by hitting their mother between five and ten times about the face and head. 
In one instance, she added that Henderson kicked their mother in the back and hit her 'hard in the head' because she had fallen over and spilled a cup of water.

She also accused her of taking away Little's clothes and telling her she had to 'earn them back.'

CASEY ANTHONY WILL NOT APPEAR IN COURT

PARTY MOM Casey Anthony will not appear in court in the case of a woman who claims she ruined her reputation.
Instead, she will now have to give videotaped testimony in case brought by a woman named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.
Back in 2008 Anthony told cops that a nanny with the same name had taken her two-year-old daughter Caylee - a claim which was later revealed to be completely false.
And now Fernandez-Gonzalez is claiming her reputation was ruined as a result.   
Anthony who was recently acquitted of killing Caylee and released from jail in July, is now serving probation on an unrelated charge at an undisclosed location in Florida.
Her whereabouts have been kept secret due to the fact that she has been receiving death threats, after being voted America's most hated woman.

Mathew Scheidt was just 17-years old, when he somehow managed to obtain hospital credentials as a physicians assistant, which allowed him perform physical examinations on patients, view their confidential records and interview them. 
He told staff at the Osceola Regional Medical Center, Florida that he he had been on a university medical programme.

But then, when he ran low on cash, he pawned the video camera, but forgot to take the tape out and the Rio Grande, TX, family who bought it found the sickening footage, cops said.
They quickly turned it over to police.
