MICHAEL Jackson's doctor has pleaded not guilty to a charge  of involuntary manslaughter. 
"Your honor, I am an innocent man," Dr Conrad Murray told Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor in a soft voice. "I definitely plead not guilty."
Lawyers for Murray, who is accused of giving the "King of Pop"  a lethal dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol and other sedative said they were ready to go to trial - which is highly likely to be televised.
"Dr. Murray is looking forward to finally telling his side of the story," defense attorney Ed Chernoff said outside court.
"He has been waiting 22 months for his opportunity to do this. It's the first chance we have to force the issue."
Murray will not seek a plea bargain but if convicted he could face a maximum for years in prison.

TWISTED granny Miriam Smith hung her nephew's pit bull from a tree with electrical cord and burned its body because it "chewed on her Bible."
When questioned by animal control officers, the 65-year-old told them she killed "Diamond" because it was a "devil dog" and she feared it might harm neighborhood children.
It had also chewed on a Bible she'd left on her porch.  
Authorities said the one-year-old female pit bull's remains were found under a pile of dried, cut grass.
Part of the orange cord was still around the dog's neck and a smell of kerosene still hung in the air, the animal control officer wrote in her report.

ROUGH sex killed a woman whose body was found stuffed in a cardboard barrel on the back seat of her car, according to her boyfriend. 

David Michael Muringer, 40, claims that he and 48-year-old Doris Lopez were having sex at his apartment when he wrapped his hand around her throat and she lost consciousness. 

When she passed out again he claims that he became upset and left the apartment, returning an hour later to find her dead. 

Instead of calling the cops however, Muringer who originally told detectives that they were only casually dating and that she was likely killed by an overdose or drug dealer, now claims he started to "freak out."  

He said he has already served time and he didn't want a return to the big house - something that will definitely happen if convicted of manslaughter and the unlawful disposal of human remains.

COPS ON Long Island have chillingly discovered that the suspected serial killer who murdered four hookers and dumped their bodies on a remote beach used Craigslist to find victims.
The four murdered women all advertised their sexual services on the popular online classified site. Megan Waterman, 22, of Maine was the first victim identified last week.
Using DNA, cops have identified the other vicitms as: Maureen Brainard-Barnes, 25, of Norwich, Conn.; Amber Lynn Costello, 27, of North Babylon; and Melissa Barthelemy, 24, of Buffalo.
ACCORDING TO THE NY POST: The killer's last known victim, Costello, went missing from North Babylon only five months ago on Sept. 2. Waterman was last seen at a Hauppauge Holiday Inn on June 6 of last year, Barthelemy went missing from The Bronx on July 12, 2009, and Brainard-Barnes vanished from Manhattan in July 2007.

Finally he pleaded guilty to seven counts of dereliction of duty — one for each enlisted woman he was accused of making inappropriate advances toward.

THE New Year rapist who struck terror into into Detroit’s female population with a series of vicious attacks has been busted Cops say.

Raynard Coleman, 31, has been charged with five of the seven rapes reported since Jan 1 and one attempted rape in a related attack. In most cases, the women were walking in darkness to or from a bus stop; police say one got out of her car after it was bumped by Coleman.

Coleman, who has spent almost half of his life in custody, was paroled after serving 14 years for attempted murder, assault with intent to rob and a gun crime in Wayne County.

 SURBURBAN soccer mom, Cathleen Miller has been sentenced to ten years for seducing and molesting four teenage boys who were friends of her daughter.

The 40-year-old held wild parties at her home, providing the teens with booze and drugs before seducing them.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, her activity came to light after one of the boys wrote an apology on Facebook to her oldest daughter who’d walked in on them while they were together.

After finding it, his parents went to the cops.     

Prosecutors say Miller had intercourse with two of the teens, had oral sex with a third and fondled a fourth.

All the victims were between the ages of 14 and 15.

She received three years of jail time for each of three victims and an additional year for abusing a fourth boy.

EVIL OLD-TIMER Paul Stark has been found guilty of brutally raping and murdering his teen next door neighbour because she messed with his mail.

Ashley Patterson’s body was found in a black trash bag with hands bound with plastic zip ties and her feet sticking out,  shocking the tiny Pueblo West community, near Denver where she lived. An autopsy revealed that the 14-year-old had also been raped.

Attention soon turned to Stark after Cops found tire tracks and video of his truck in the field where her body was found.

More heartache in Florida. A wanted  triggerman shot and killed two St. Petersburg cops in what law enforcement officials are calling a cold-blooded execution. A deputy U.S. Marshal was also wounded in the Monday morning massacre. The alleged killer--Hydra Lacy Jr., 39--was found dead in his home after cops used a backhoe to rip through the house.

"This crook, this criminal, this cop-killer ... did a terrible injustice to two of my people," said Harmon. "I feel a lot of anger, I feel remorse for the families. ... It's a sobering reminder of what our officers face all the time."
