But perhaps he is best known as the hapless tavern owner Sonny, in GoodFellas. Remember him. Joe Pesci didn't find him funny. Now, the character actor is slated to plead guilty today to extortion charges in the vicious beating of a man who owed him money, according to the New York Post.

BUTTOCK INJECTION KILLS BRITISH WOMAN, 20: COPS

A BRITISH woman is dead after getting a botched buttocks enhancement injection in Philadelphia. Cops say that Claudia Adusei, 20, of London died Saturday and her travel companion--who also had the procedure--is in a Philly hospital. The pair were given syringes and unknown drugs at a hotel near the airport. They were part of a group of four en route to a party in New York. The women were all in their 20s. Adusei later complained of chest pains Monday and died later that day. Police are now seeking two women for questioning in the death.

LOHAN FACING GRAND THEFT CHARGES TODAY

LILO heads to court again today to face grand theft charges for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store.

The "Mean Girls" star accused of walking out with a gold necklace could go to California State Prison for up to three years if found guilty. 
She has already spent three brief stints in jail in the last three years.
The 24-year-old recently rehabbed starlet is on probation in a 2007 misdemeanor DUI case which requires her to obey all laws and submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
A probation violation alone could leave her with six months in the county slammer.
Representatives for Lohan have not returned requests for comment, but her lawyers have denied allegations that she stole the necklace.

WORLD RENOWNED skateboarder Mark Rogowski has been denied parole in the 1991 sex slaying of Jessica Bergsten. The skateboarder--known as Gator--killed Bergsten, a friend of his former gal pal, Brandi McClain.
The overgrown adolescent told cops he took Bergsten to his apartment in Carlsbad, California, bashed her over the head, raped her for three hours and then choked her to death. He buried her body in the desert. Rogowski claims he murdered the pretty young woman as revenge on his ex.
 "Gator" was considered one of the top skateboard tricksters of his day with a magnetic personality to boot parlaying his fame into big bucks.

A MAN has been busted for having sex with a 13-year-old girl that he met and 'married while playing an online game.
John W Phillips, who at 54 is old enough to be her grandfather, stands accused of having sex at least three times with the teen, after they started a relationship in the RuneScape multiplayer game.  
Cops say that  they ‘married’ in the online role-playing platform and after he hand delivered a mobile phone to her in February last year.
Then they had sex at a motel, in his van and at her home.
He has now been charged with 11 felonies including sexual assault, using a computer to communicate with another person to commit a crime, accosting a child for immoral purposes and child sexually abusive activity after his arrest in New York last month. .
He faces maximum sentences for the charges ranging from four to 20 years in

TEXAS TODDLER JOSHUA MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARS

DISGRACED dog fighting quarterback Michael Vick was given the "key to the city" of Dallas without the mayors consent.
In a move that sparked fury from animal right's groups  City Councilman Dwaine Caraway presented the key at a ceremony in Dallas in the days leading up to Sunday's Super Bowl.
"You deserve it. You earned it. We appreciate you, and we love you," he told Vick, who in 2007 was implicated in an illegal interstate dog fighting ring that had been operating for over five years.
He eventually pleaded guilty to federal felony charges and served 21 months in prison, followed by two months in home confinement, for his part in the barbaric sport.

DETECTIVES 'KNOW WHO KILLER IS' IN '81 OHIO COP SLAY

IT HAS been a mystery for more than 30 years in Marietta, Ohio. Lt. Ray "Joe" Clark was viciously gunned down in his home Feb. 7, 1981 while he watched an Ohio State basketball game. Now, cops in the Buckeye State are stopping just short of naming the man they believe is the murderer.
Detectives say the man is now 60 and still lives in the area.

"We have enough right now for an indictment," said Washington County sheriff's cold case Detective Jeff Seevers. "He knows who he is. We know who he is. We've talked to him. We don't want to stop with an indictment, we want a conviction. All it's going to take is that 'one thing,' that little something someone saw, or heard, or we find to put this over the edge."
