VERY INTESTINING! MTV'S 'DIRTY' COLON'S MURDER RAP

One time Chess club president
MTV reality show finalist Baron “Dirty” Colon is back in the dock after being charged with first-degree murder and armed burglary.
Colon made a name for himself on MTV’s: “From G’s to Gents” back in 2009 - a show which gave street thugs hoping for a second, third or even fourth chance to reform.
The show claims to transform "rough-around-the-edges young men" into successful gentlemen.
Back in 2006 the 'Dirty' Colon told viewers: “I got two kids. I want to be in the gentleman's club because I want to change, for them. If I don't change, there's only going to be two things: prison, or death.''
Try as he might, it seems that Colon couldn’t change enough and his prediction of prison is about to come true.

According to The Miami Herald here: http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/01/13/2015170/gs-to-gents-contestant-from-miami.html he was arrested for the slaying of artist Marcelo Vera during a botched robbery in January 2006.
Investigators got a break in the case last year when an unnamed informant secretly recorded Colon confessing intimate details about the killing.
According to the arrest warrant Colon conspired with Stephany Concepcion, 26, and two other men known only as "Big Killer" and "Crazy Dead" to rob Vera.
The 44-year-old was known to keep keep large amounts of cash in his home

It also lists details: "ranging from the caliber of the weapons used in the homicide, the fact that the victim was a skinny male who put up a fight, and that he and [an accomplice] fled the scene.”
Then they: “Spent the night outside, even sleeping in bushes the night of the murder to make sure he evaded police,"
It seems that despite trying to use the show to get away from his past, “Dirty” was a suspect at the time he flew out to LA to film the show.
His rap sheet already contained multiple arrests for drugs, grand theft, and driving with a suspended license.
