BOOM BYE! BYE! BUJU BANTON GOING TO JAIL

Bye Bye
NOTORIOUS homophobe Reggae star Buju Banton has been found guilty of trying set up a cocaine deal.
The 37-year-old, who scooped a Grammy last week for his album "Before The Dawn" now looks like he may spend his nights behind bars, as he faces at least 15-years in prison.
He was found guilty of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense and using a telephone to facilitate a drug trafficking offense.
It was the second time he's stood trial after the first ended in a mistrial last year after the jury was deadlocked.
His attorney, David Markus said: "Obviously we are all upset and disappointed and emotional," s"The only person who seems to be OK is Buju. He told us he was happy that he fought, knowing he was innocent."
Markus added that he plans to appeal on Banton's behalf.
Prosecutors acknowledged that Banton didn't put any money into the deal or make any money from it and much of the case hinged on meetings and phone calls that were video- and audio taped by an informant who made $50,000 in commission after the bust.
But they got enough to convict the star whose songs were played nonstop on radio stations in his native Jamaica.
