ADOPTED BROTHERS MISSING 10 YRS; PARENTS 'SHADY'

FOR 10 YEARS no one knew where they were. Now, Colorado cops have launched a desperate hunt for two young boys who have been unaccounted for almost 10 years. The boys' adoptive parents now live in El Paso, Texas where they are free on $1 million bail. Edward Bryant, 58, and his wife Linda, 54, have not been charged in the disappearances of Austin Eugene and Edward Dylan.

Cops say Austin may have vanished as early as 2003 when he was just 7 while Edward may have been gone since 2001 when he was 9. Local reports say detectives took a report on Jan. 22 in regard to Austin';s disappearance and discovered he had not been seen since between 2003 and 2005. A second child, Edward, went missing in early 2001. No missing persons report had been filed.

Now, the Bryants face theft, conspiracy, forgery and other charges stemming from collecting subsidies from the El Paso County Department of Human Services. They lived in Colorado Springs between 1999 and 2005.
A neighbor said: "I don't really remember them, but they seemed like shady people. Something just wasn't quite right."
Anyone with information on the boys is being asked to call the El Paso County Sheriff's Office at 719-390-5555.
