GANG MEMBER'S TATTOO CLEARS COLD CASE SLAY

HIS TATTOO gave him away. Cops in California say a really clever gang member's tattoo led to his conviction in a 2004 cold case murder. Anthony Garcia, 22, was convicted of first-degree murder with gang enhancements for the slaying of John Juarez, 23, on January 23, 2004. Garcia was linked to the slaying when a detective was sifting through photos of gangland tats. His image was entered by the California Highway Patrol when he was stopped in 2008. According to KTLA, the tattoo featured an image of Ed's Liquor on the 6600 block of Rosemead Boulevard. In front of the
building, a peanut-shaped man is being shot by a helicopter and then laying face down. The dumb inscription? "Rivera Kills" referring to Tivera 13, his gang. The helicopter represents his nickname: Chopper. Bye Bye Dickhead.
