THIEVING PRIEST TOOK $1 MILLION FOR MALE ESCORTS

ROBBIN' REV
A LIGHT fingered Roman Catholic priest who helped himself to more than $1 million worth of church cash which he spent on male escorts and a lavish lifestyle, has been sentenced to three years behind bars. Rev Kevin Gray cruised gay bars decked out in Armani clothes, while posing as a kindly, caring, humble parish priest in Hartford, CT. He was also paying $2000 a month rent for a small apartment on New York’s Upper East Side which he shared with a man he met in Central Park in 2005.
He also paid for the man to attend Harvard University, bought him a
piano and dogs, and paid for his piano lessons and vet bills.
The living room had a reproduction of part of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel stuck to the ceiling and a poster of the Virgin Mary on the wall.
Gray entered a plea of no contest to the charges and once he's served his sentence he may be able to resume his priestly duty.
In a statement, the diocese said: ‘Father Kevin Gray’s plea demonstrates that he is fully aware and responsible for the severity of his wrongdoing and is repentant.
It said: "After he completes his sentence, if devoted to his priestly commitment, he will be eligible to continue serving as a priest, but will never be placed in a position where he will manage finances."
