POLICE in Washington state are racing against the clock in their hunt for a missing 2-year-old as the mercury drops. Sky Metalwala disappeared when his mother ran out of gas, leaving the boy in the car while she and his 4-year-old brother walked a mile to a Chevron station. Despite the search, cops are confident they have concluded looking in the immediate area. So, what now? Mom left the car unlocked, probably a pretty stupid idea. Oh, and cops did NOT find a gas can at the scene. Cops said: "We don't know much, other than that the child is still missing. I don't know if the child got out on his own. We don't have very much information." MORE IN THE SEATTLE TIMES
