SEE YA later. A sick pup who raped murdered an 88-year-old widow in 2001 was put to death last night by Virgina. Jerry Terrell Jackson, 30, was pronounced dead just after 9 p.m. He had no final words on the heinous murder of Ruth Phillips. His defense had claimed he suffered through a horrendous childhood and the killer admitted, "it wouldn't have happened" if not for those horrific early years. He is the first inmate executed using a new dope cocktail.
The victim's son, Richard Phillips, who found his mother murdered called the execution long overdue.
