SOUR TASTE: LOW THIEVES STEAL LEMONADE MONEY

RATS

Along with two friends Chelsea Edwards, 13, had made more than $150 at her Warner, GA stand when the callous couple came up and started asking questions about the price.
Then she said: "The man bent down and seen the money jar, and he
grabbed it," before running off.
In his hurry to get away however, Turner jumped in his car and drove off without his girlfriend in tow.
She was quickly picked up at the scene.
Houston County Sheriff's Lt. Jon Holland called the robbery "a first" for him in his years of crime-fighting, saying: "I've never had a case where a child at a lemonade stand has been robbed."

Thankfully, since the robbery, Edwards says neighbors have pitched in to fill a new money jar for Edwards' two-year-old cousin Logan who developmentally disabled, and has a rare intestinal disorder.
