THE MAN accused of nearly beheading his stunning blonde girlfriend was a sinister Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, according to people who knew him. Raul Barrera had repeatedly terrorized his stunning 23-year-old girlfriend Sarah Coit in their Manhattan apartment. Then, on Sunday, the PR man's bloodlust boiled over and he murdered her, slashing her stunning face and nearly decapitating her."I knew he was going to kill her,"one neighbor told the New York Post. "His eyes were insane. He was a killer."
Colleen Carerir, 24, said: "He wasn't human. He was a
monster. He looked at me like I was a piece of meat. I worked at Bellevue with mental patients, and they had nothing on this guy."
Neighbors heard Coit begging for her life Sunday. Cops came but nothing came of it. The Post reported that he has seven prior domestic assaults.
MEANWHILE, according to the NY Daily News the twisted Barrera, 33, wanted to ensure that Coit would not be pretty for anyone else. He used several knives to gouge Coit's pretty face. He sliced her across the mouth and jaw, and with such force that one of the tips of the blades broke, authorities said.
