LAUREN SPIERER'S FAMILY FURIOUS AT DRUG CLAIM

Desperate search: Lauren Spierer, 20, has been missing for two years with very few leads into what happened to the 20-year-old Indiana studentLauren Spierer went missing after a night of heavy partying at Indiana University in 2011. She has not been seen since. Detectives have been vexed by the cone of silence that has hovered over her friends since the incident in Bloomington, Indiana.
Now, the pretty blonde co-ed's reputation is being dragged through the mud by the parents of her boyfriend --who has largely been uncooperative with police. The parents of Jesse Wolff are now claiming that Lauren was a drug user. And her parents are furious.
Robert and Charlene Spierer told the Indianapolis Star they were "appalled" at the cold-hearted claims. They said: "We are appalled that the Wolffs have defamed our daughter knowing that Lauren
will never have the opportunity to respond."
Focus: Jesse Wolff, Lauren Spierer's boyfriend at the time of her disappearance, has passed a private polygraph testNadine and Alan Wolff -- whose son Jesse was dating Lauren when she vanished-- called the devastated Spierers "liars" last week, adding: "This poor little girl is not with us today because of her drug abuse."
The Spierers now believe their daughter is dead but they won't find peace until someone comes forward. One of the young men who last saw Lauren was Jay Rosenbaum who told cops she may have told him she snorted a prescription drug on June 3, 2011.  He also claimed that Lauren and pal David Rohn had taken cocaine - but no evidence has been found of this allegation. MORE ON LAUREN SPIERER
