Man's dog helps cops bust him on drug charge

PRATTVILLE, ALABAMA -- With a best friend like this, who needs enemies?
Cops in Prattville Ala. say that a man's own dog helped to catch and bust him on a drugs charge. When officers turned up with a search warrant, Edwin Henderson took off running, according to Prattville Police spokeswoman, Paula Barlow.
But after spotting a dog named Bo, one of the quick thinking investigators pointed at Henderson and told the pooch to "go get him." 
 The eager hound gleefully chased his master and when he stopped and wagged his tail near some tall grass, they were able to find and arrest Henderson, who was later charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

THE coke mule oldster who was busted with more than 200 pounds of Bolivian marching powder has pleaded not guilty in his first court appearance.
The mutton chopped 87-year-old told the court he had been "forced to take it" by someone he met through an employee in Florida.
"He asked me if I was busy. I said 'Not as busy as I'd like to be,'" said Sharp, who was told to drive north to Raleigh, N.C., and pick up luggage containing cash.
Then, as we reported here, he drove cross-country to Arizona where he dropped off the luggage and picked up dozens of bricks of cocaine along with more money and a slip of paper with a freeway exit number in Detroit.

Hip-hop artist Antwan 'Big Boi' Patton is facing several drug charges after cops busted him on a boat returning from the Caribbean, where he'd been "chillaxing" according to his Twitter feed.
He wrote: "The energy from the Ocean is proving to be great for writing. They playing Mini Golf on the upper deck."
He also name dropped Puerto Rico, Saint Martin and Grand Turk island during his many updates.
But on his journey home, Big Boi, who is rumored to have reunited with fellow Outkast member Andre 3000 recently, was busted and charged with possession of three controlled substances.   

WILLIE NELSON ON THE ROAD AGAIN AFTER DRUG BUST

COUNTRY legend Willie Nelson may not have Sweet Memories of his drug bust but after striking a plea deal he can get On The Road Again. 
Unsurprisingly given his well known love of the reefer, cops found marijuana on his tour bus last year at a border checkpoint. 
He was originally charged with possession but according to TMZ the singer struck a plea deal in his marijuana case and will not have to do any hard time.

Sources close to Nelson said that the singer agreed to plead no contest to misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia rather than possession which could have seen him end up behind bars.
