Mom jailed for killing & dismembering Boyfriend

The first cut may have been the deepest, but a SoCal mom who stabbed her boyfriend to death before dismembering his body and burying some of the remains in potted plants will now serve 26 to life in prison, prosecutors said.
Carmen Montenegro was convicted last month in the 2011 killing of 62-year-old Samuel Wiggins, according to the San Bernadino County DA's office.
The 54-year-old was arrested after detectives caught her pushing a trash can down the street with his remains inside, near their Ontario, Calif. home.

Graham suspect Jesse Matthew eyed in 5 slayings

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINA -- Jesse Matthew Jr. is looking more and more like a potential serial killer. The man charged with kidnapping missing University of Virginia student Hannah Graham -- who disappeared Sept. 13 -- is being eyed in a number of other unsolved homicides. Already, cops have linked Matthew to the 2009 slaying of co-ed Morgan Harrington, 20, who vanished after a Metallica concert and was later found dead.
Now, the Washington Post is reporting that he was also accused of two counts of sexual assault at other Virginia universities while he was a student. The first was at Liberty University in Lynchburg, and then at Christopher Newport University in Newport News. Both reports were investigated by police, but Matthew was never charged.

Cowboys' C.J. Spillman accused of sexual assault

DALLAS, TEXAS -- Another day and another NFL star in apparent hot water.
This time it's Dallas Cowboy's special teams player C.J Spillman who has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman at the team's hotel, according to the New York Daily News.
High profile attorney Gloria Allred who is representing the victim said that she had reported the assault on Sept. 20th, but Spillman had been allowed to play the next day.
In a Sept 26th letter to beleaguered NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, she questioned whether his organisation had been made aware of the rape.

Gold medal trouble, Michael Phelps busted for DUI

Champion drinker? not so much.

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND -- Swimming superstar Michael Phelps had been out gambling before he was arrested for a DUI near Baltimore.
The most decorated Olympian of all time had "red, bloodshot" eyes, according to the police statement of probable cause and officers said his speech was "much mouth."
Phelps, who recently came out of retirement, announcing his intention to compete at the 2016 Rio Olympics, also told cops he had "three or four drinks" and had just left the Horseshoe Casino.
He had "difficulty with his balance" when officers asked him to walk heel to toe in a straight line and when asked to stand on one leg he told officers "that's not happening."
A later breathalyser revealed he had a blood alcohol level of .14, well over the state's .08 limit.

JUAN DOMINGO PERON, ARGENTINA -- A teenage girl was left horrifically disfigured after two love rivals carved up her face -- because she was "too pretty."  The evil duo wanted lovely Julia Alvarez, 15, to "look like Chucky", the mangled movie character. The two jealous teens -- 18 and 16 -- confronted Maria and said: "Everyone says you are pretty. You won't look pretty when we have finished with you. People will call you Chucky."

Breaking Bad killer Jason Hart guilty in acid murder

SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON -- The monster called the Breaking Bad Killer pleaded guilty in a Washington court. Jason Hart admitted murdering Regan Jolley by strangulation in 2013. But it was Hart's twisted method of body disposal that earned him his horrific nickname. When detectives searched his home, they discovered a DVD of the hit show, Breaking Bad. The disc had been stopped at a scene showing a murder where the victim is strangled, then the corpse dumped into a rub of warm water and acid. He was sentenced  to 14 years. MORE FROM WTSP

Kidnapped Sabrina Allen found safe after 12 years

AUSTIN, TEXAS -- A little girl who was kidnapped by her mother 12 years ago has miraculously been found. Just 4-years-old when she was snatched, Sabrina Allen was found in a small town southeast of Mexico City. Her father, Greg Allen, spearheaded the decade-long search and ultimate rescue of his daughter.
"I am overjoyed that Sabrina has been found alive and is safe," he said in a statement. "Our entire family would like to thank the investigators that made this happen."

Death penalty likely for Arron Lewis in Carter case

LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS -- For evil Arron Lewis, a date with the needle is almost a certainty. While officials say it's still too early to discuss punishment for Lewis who has admitted to kidnapping Little Rock realtor Beverly Carter. So far, he has not confessed to her murder but it's likely that admission is not far away. He told his lawyer: “I want to plead guilty and get it over with as quick as I can. I'm just sorry it all happened."
Pulaski County Prosecutor Larry Jegley said the death penalty is on the table. No one has been executed in Arkansas since 2005.

'Gutless' Eric Frein left 'functional' bombs in woods

"Gutless" cop-killer Eric Frein planted two "fully functional" pipe bombs in the dense Pennsylvania woods, police said.
State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens said that the explosives could have been detonated by a tripwire or lighted fuse.
He added that this was consistent with the crazy survivalist's "gutless efforts to kill and injure law enforcement from a distance."
Officers searching for Frein had also found other supplies that the fugitive had "hastily" left behind but he did not say what they were.
I'm calling on you to surrender," Bivens said. "You are clearly stressed. You are making significant mistakes."
 

'Cold Blooded' Paul Curry guilty of wife's 1994 murder

A "vicious, cold blooded" former nuclear engineer who was driven by an "insatiable appetite for money" was convicted of the 1994 murder of his wife.
Paul Curry gave a sleeping pill to his wife Linda and then poisoned her with a shot of nicotine because he wanted the $547.695 payout from her life insurance policy, prosecutors said.

Creepy dutch killer Joran van der Sloot has called the eight-pound baby girl Dushy after his grandmother, his attorney Maximo Altez said. 

However, he will not be able to see the girl or his wife Leydi Figueroa who had a natural birth at Lima's Perinatal and Maternity Hospital for some time.

Teacher Sean Shaynak's lurid sex with teen harem

He was supposed to be teaching them maths and physics but perverted Sean Shaynak was much more interested in sex-ed with several of his female students, according to New York prosecutors.
In a 36 count indictment, they allege that the 44-year-old father of a nine-year-old daughter:

• Took a teen to gay sex club and made her watch as he was "serviced" by other men. 
• Forced himself on a student after she resisted his advances. 
• Plied a girl with so much booze that she passed out at his home.
• Asked a girl to have lesbian sex with another student.
