LOW LA Laker Derrick Caracter slammed a pregnant cashier after he was refused service in a New Orleans restaurant.
The boozed up 22-year-old forward grabbed and shoved her when she decided he was to drunk to serve at the city's International House of Pancakes early Sunday.
Fortunately she wasn't injured but the player was dunked into jail on charges of battery, public drunkenness and resisting arrest.
An onlooker said: "He had clearly been piling in the drinks, because he was wasted. I couldn't blame her for not serving him.
"He gave her a huge shove. It was unforgivable. She was clearly carrying a baby and he was a lot bigger than her. Who knows what might have happened.
The 22-year-old rookie substitute for the reigning NBA champions was taken into custody near the team's hotel about 19 hours before the Lakers' 93-88 playoff loss to New Orleans. Caracter did not play.
That result left their best-of-seven Western Conference series level at 2-2 with game five on Tuesday at Los Angeles and game six back in New Orleans on Thursday.
Police say Caracter was freed later Sunday morning on $1,000 bond.
