MICH. DAD GUILTY IN SCALDING DEATHS OF TODDLERS

A SINGLE dad in Michigan has been found guilty in the drowning and scalding deaths of his two toddlers. But the judge bizarrely suggested Steven Nicholson, 27, killed his son by accident and then murdered his daughter on purpose.
Judge Vera Massey Jones said: ""I don't believe he intended to kill Jonathon. He was overcome by the stresses of being a single parent and
he just wanted him to be quiet." Well, all well and good but... he did hold his 13-month-old son's face underwater to stop him from crying last October 19.
What did he expect was going to be the result? Then, he deliberately drowned 15-month-old Ella Stafford to make it look like the two drowned while playing in the bathtub. Nicholson kept muttering: "she's wrong" as the judge spoke. He will likely spend the rest of his life in prison. The other problem old Steve-o had were more than 100 photos, including lots of pix of the children's scalded bodies.
Nicholson is guilty of first-degree premeditated murder, felony murder and first-degree child abuse for the girl's death. He is guilty of second-degree murder for the death of the boy.He will be sentenced in May.
