Either way Nikia Goode, Vernon Bundy or Johnny Taylor must have been stunned when the cops turned up, just moments after they sat there plotting to steal scrap metal.
What they couldn't have known is that one of them had led officers right to them by accidentally dialing 911, when they sat on their phone.

WITH his jeans down low, he thought he was the height of fashion but this thief might think about wearing a belt in future after he was caught when a witness identified his boxer shorts. 
Antonio Kleiss, 14, was fleeing the scene after attempting to break into a pick-up truck when his pants fell down, revealing his underwear to an eyewitness. 
Donna Decker, 65, had spotted the youngster acting suspiciously inside an unlocked 1991 Dodge pick-up-truck in a Port Charlotte, FL. 

CELINA CASS: STEPFATHER'S TRUCK TAKEN AWAY

A PICKUP truck belonging to the troubled stepfather of Celina Cass, has been hauled away by cops investigating her mysterious death. 
The tragic 11-year-old's body was found dead on Monday, almost a week after her mysterious disappearance, but detectives are still trying to work out how she died. 
As part of their investigation they have taken the truck, which neighbors said was used by her stepfather Wendell Noyes, who was reportedly taken to hospital hours before the youngster's body was found. 
In the past he has received treatment for mental illness and was reportedly involuntarily committed to a mental institution and diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2003.
Officers remained tight lipped on why they were taking the truck, but it's thought they maybe searching for DNA or other clues in the vehicle.

BALLS: VIRGINIA TICE CHARGED WITH OBSCENITY

OKAY, so they're not in the best possible taste admittedly.
But in a fantastic waste of time and money Virginia Tice is heading to court for a jury trial over a ticket she was given for displaying big, plastic testicles on the back of her pickup truck.
The 65-year-old was reportedly fined a whopping $445, for the offending pair, after pulling into a convenience store near her home in Bonneau, SC.
Officers said that they violated the state's obscene bumper sticker law - even thought they're clearly not a sticker.  
Police Chief Franco Fuda asked for a jury trial, saying questions of obscenity should be determined by community standards.

BODY IN CREEK LIKELY ISN'T LAUREN SPIERER: CORONER

UPDATE: The woman's body found in an Indiana creek Sunday probably isn't missing blonde co-ed Lauren Spierer, the Marion County Coroner said today. The badly decomposed body was taller than the 5-foot-nothing Spierer, who has been missing for a month.
Indianapolis police have been in contact with cops from Bloomington and Noblesville, Ind., who are investigating the June 13 disappearance of 74-year-old Dorothy Heard.
