Whitey Bulger is the last of America's old school gangsters and sometime this week he will go on trial for a litany of crimes -- including 19 murders. The man who owned Boston for decades --and inspired Jack Nicholson's crazed mob boss in The Departed -- was finally run to ground after years on the run with his mob moll in 2011.
Now 83, the crime lord's platinum hair is gone and the remnants of his feared Winter Hill Gang are dead, in prison  or if they're lucky, scattered to the wind. Can the old crook pull another miracle?

A spilled cup of punch at a kindergarten graduation ceremony, led to a sidewalk brawl which saw eight people arrested cops say.
Parents at Cleveland's Michael R. White School had been looking forward to a "joyous day" police commander Wayne Drummond revealed.
But as families gathered, a couple of teenagers got into a dispute over some spilled punch and stepped outside to continue it.
The fight quickly escalated, with people picking up sticks and at least one person arming themselves with a hammer.
City schools spokesperson, Roseann Canfora, said none of them were students at the school.

So the longtime friends walked into Walmart in Ocala, FL, and pilfered a couple of bathing suits and some beef jerky. 

Mobley was also found wearing another bikini under her clothes. 

She told a judge: "We were two stupid women doing something we never did before. I'm ashamed of this whole situation."

A BARMY llama caused high drama when cops had to taser the spitting beast before they could return him to his South Florida home.
The seven-year-old menace, called Scooter somehow managed to get out of his enclosure late Friday and decided to go for a wander on the roads near his South Tallahassee home.

Gerardo Perez may quite literally be a horndog. Chicago cops say the 50-year-old had sex with a pit bull while visiting  an animal care facility. It is enough to give paws.
The Chicago Tribune said Perez was taking a group tour of the care facility when he was discovered by employees with a white and grey pit bull -- not exactly the pooch of passion -- on his hands and knees alongside the dog and appeared to have just had sex with the animal. Police say canine copulator  made "inculpatory statements" regarding the sexual conduct with the dog to other employees on the scene. Bail was set at $80,000 -- a lot of milkbones.

UPDATE: The Arizona mother of triplets who was held in a Mexican jail on trumped up drug charges in now a free woman. A Mexican court released Yanira Maldonado Thursday night after cops had accused her of trying to smuggle 12 lbs. of marijuana into the country under a bus seat. But the Mormon mum of seven denied the charges as she was held in a harsh Mexican jail. The court determined there was not enough evidence.

A DRUG smuggling granny's wheely bad plan was easily smoked out by eagle eyed custom's inspectors who spotted her suspicious wheelchair.
Fior Daliza Garcia rolled off a Jet Blue flight from the Dominican Republic with both heroin and cocaine concealed in her chair.
Customs and Border Protection inspectors said she appeared nervous when they questioned her and they also noted her wheelchair appeared to be freshly painted.
Escorted into a private room her cases came up clean, but then inspectors turned their attention to the wheelchair.  
In a complaint filed at Brooklyn Federal Court, Special Agent Edward Romero "During the subsequent search CBP officers lifted the wheelchair and noticed it was unusually heavy and flimsy."
According to the Daily News they then found the stash in the body of the wheelchair.
Garcia, a grandmother from Boston allegedly then confessed she was going to be paid $12,000 for smuggling the drugs.

NO RULING ON CASEY ANTHONY BANKRUPTCY

THE CASEY Anthony saga continued yesterday when a judge withheld his ruling on defamation lawsuits brought against her. 

The notorious 24-year-old, who was controversially acquitted of murdering her daughter Caylee last year, had tried to stave off any payments by filing for bankruptcy. 

They include Zenaida Gonzalez, who claims her reputation was damaged, when Anthony falsely claiming that a similarly named nanny kidnapped Caylee.  

Meter reader, Roy Kronk, who found the tot's body also claims he was wrongly implicated in her death and that his standing has been damaged as a result. 

Anthony did not attend the hearing, again choosing to remain in hiding, where she has been since being cleared of the murder, a verdict which even trial judge, Belvin Perry said, caused him to be, "surprised, shocked and in disbelief." 

BODY OF MISSOURI MOM JACQUE SUE WALLER FOUND

A two-year search for missing Missouri mother of triplets Jacque Sue Waller has ended in heartache. Cops say the pretty blonde 39-year-old's remains were discovered Wednesday.
Waller was last seen on June 1, 2011 shortly after she attended a meeting with her estranged husband, James "Clay" Waller to discuss their impending divorce. Her SUV was later found abandoned by the side of the highway near Fruitland, MO. -- several miles away from her house.
